Strudel Shot of the Week!

Strudel says Happy Holidays!

All the News...

Not a super exciting week. I did really enjoy the extra day off for Thanksgiving. I finally tried the famous "It's It" ice-cream sandwich, it was pretty good. But I want to try and make my own homemade version. Maybe a butterscotch cookie with rum raisin ice cream covered in chocolate?

I joined my cousins for Thanksgiving this year in Irvine. My cousin lives in this crazy apartment complex that's super luxurious but also ridiculous, it was really fun!
I think I found an apartment to live in, so I will be moving to the ghetto soon. Maybe I should write a blog about that!

When they make a movie about my experience it will be called "Just Another Girl on the PCH" and it will star Lady GaGa. Can't wait!

Fit to Print

Here's what happened this week:

I saw some cool tattoos.

Ate some yummy salty chocolate and chevre fig gelato with Whitney, Lenny, & Tony in Silverlake.

Saw some cool things at Silverlake shops, especially loved this handmade credit card sign!

Watched the Project Runway finale, I had been underwhelmed by the whole season but I liked the final show. Tim Gunn's advertised "meltdown" never happened. I missed the reunion show they usually did when the show was on Bravo.

And here is a picture of the sunset in my rearview mirror.
Have a good week all!

I wish I could wear these shoes every day!

Jimmy Stewart

Most people seem to know him for later roles & westerns, when he seemed much more of a curmudgeonly character, but I prefer to remember him when he was young & lanky & adorable. Y'now, when he was rooming with Henry Fonda and they schemed to dig a tunnel into Marlene Dietrich's house next door, that sort of thing.

Nerd Boyfriend

I am loving this blog "Nerd Boyfriend". They aren't too wordy over there, but why run off at the mouth when you don't need to? Check it out.

Cute prints I want for my future home!

This one is from Brainstorm Print & Design. $30
I have always loved the old saying-"Red sky at night, Sailor's delight, red sky in morning, Sailor take warning"

Find this one at Blu Lima's Etsy shop. $12
You can also find the famous "Keep Calm and Carry On" print from Blu Lima. I love that design but find it a little too overdone at this point!

This calendar from Miriam Bereson is just too cute! $15

"For Like Ever" poster, I have loved this design since I saw it on the cover of Domino. $60

This one I am going to have to make on my own!

Today's random thoughts:

I have had a rather boring day of aimlessly watching the telly, and this movie Breaking & Entering is on. Normally the draw would be Mr. Jude Law, but I find myself not loving him lately, and rather thinking of him as a creepy balding sex addict. Two other things kept me watching, even though I am finding it boring.
1. Mr. Ed Westwick, before his GG days, as young croation gangster "Zoran", he's the one in the hat:

2. Mr. Martin Freeman, who I've been in love with since his portrayal of "Tim" in the original Office. Sadly, this is not the first film I have had trouble getting through with Martin in it, he has yet to find his niche I think. I watched "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" just for him and the adorable Mr. Mos Def!

In other thoughts, I didn't think I would ever say this, but red velvet treats have officially jumped the shark. Today at the store I saw red velvet cupcakes, red velvet cake, and red velvet whoopie pies. I'm DONE.

Want, Need

Want: I really think this adorable Jonathan Adler Shoe Butter Dish would be the perfect final touch to my new mid-century modern Los Angeles apartment.
Need: Not to mention that I need an apartment first, I'm concentrating on the important things, per usual!
Some people are not JA fans, but I think he's amazing. And he is half of one of the most adorable couples I have ever seen, JA & Simon Doonan have been shacking up for years!
