Party at Greta's!

Last night, I attended a super-fun chill party at Gretas new apartment. There were many glamorous guests there, Amanda and Andre, Derek, Lauren, lots of cool people. The new place is so cute, and really big. Greta has painted it all these lovely colors, and there is even a built in vanity in the bedroom! Talk about my dream in life! We were rocking the party so hard that we almost got shut down by the manager, but that didn't stop us. And, Greta let me borrow this great book that she got from Derek's basement laundry room. It is called "And ladies of the club" by Helen Hooven Santmyer. Reviewers said "will do for the middle west what Gone With the Wind did for the old south". I personally have never heard of the middle west, but what do I know? Can't wait to dig into this novel! Thanks Greta!

Chocolate and Zucchini

Today, I was surprised to find out that my fantasy life is actually being lived out by a 26 year old parisian named Clotilde Dusolier. Clotilde has an excellent foodie blog named Chocolate and Zuchinni, which you should totally check out. But beware, it will infect you with the most unbelievable I-want-that-life ennui. Clotilde lives in Paris with her boyfriend, Maxence. They live in the cutest building ever, have the cutest neighbors, and they spend all their time being cute and eating excellent food. Clotilde writes recipes and talks about food experiences, and throws in a little general life as well. Isn't she just the cutest thing you have ever seen? I would have to kill her if she wasn't so great. There was also an interesting interview with her on NPR, you can listen to it on the NPR website. Meanwhile, I will spend my time aspiring to be Clotilde, buying baguettes on my way home, and throwing cute dinner parties with my world traveling friends!
