Rum and coke, do it.

So it finally happened. My dear friends Peter and Sarah Roth (or some might know them as J. Peter and J. Sarah Roth) after threatening for months, have finally decided to move away. They will be teaching English for a year in Indonesia. We had the best going away party for them at the Ambassador Karaoke Lounge last Saturday, and because it was such a special occasion, I felt that I needed to get extremely drunk, stop being a sissy, and sing Karaoke for the first time ever! And I totally did! It wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be, although I did feel a little lightheaded and stupid afterwards, but that might just be the 18 Gin and Tonics talking. Viktoria and I sang Delta Dawn (the Helen Reddy version) but we probably should have gone with the Tanya Tucker, it doesn't have quite so many repeats at the end. Altogether not quite as bad as it could have been. And even though I screamed "TOUCH IT" 800 times at everyone who sang, not one person did. So disappointing!
Well, Peter & Sarah, you will be sorely missed and I totally hope that someday we live in the same town again, preferably 2 blocks from each other per usual!
